  Hey Guys!

  First of all, hello everyone, I am Luke from New Zealand.
  Hope to meet you all in the near future.

  I am establishing a brand of scooters here in NZ, with OEM branding.
  I want to set up a 'discount card' to give away with our scooters, so the buyers will have more value added.

  Has anyone done this before? Are businesses generally willing to offer discounts like this? What is the best way to go about it?

  What are you thinking of offering through the discount card? Discounts on gasoline, accessories, maintenance? Discount cards can be a perk when selling a product but only if it excites the buyer and provides value as you mentioned. For example, when purchasing a new car, some dealerships offer half price or free gas for a year by loading up a gift card at a gas station or giving a discount card. Obviously the driver is going to need gas so this is a great bonus.

  You also have to consider what the cost will be to you and whether it is worth it.
